Today there is a bad forecast, but we’re sitting here on the boat and it looks beautiful. Of course, we are very sheltered. Many boats have left. It works well for us that Jan gets to make the call on whether we are going or not! We picked up anchor at 5:30 a.m. thinking we

Going south is very slow! We’ve had more wind and waves on this portion of the trip than any other. We left Sullivan Bay and landed in Kwatsi bay and did a stern tie. Taking the stern line to land. Wednesday we left Kwatsi Bay and made it to Port Harvey. This is just a

We made it across The Dixon Entrance and they let us in! We started out on Thursday, July 9th. We got out of our cove and I made Norm turn around and anchor. The waves were about 5′ and we weren’t even out in it yet. This is what it’s all about. Friday, July 10th

HAPPY 4TH OF JULY TO EVERYONE 250 YEARS! Anchorage was wonderful! I cried when we left. Sophia was so interactive – smiling, beginning to giggle and coo! We flew back to Ketchikan on Monday, July 6. The airport is on an island across the Tongass Narrows. You take a small ferry to get there. It
