We arrived in Anacortes, WA April 26th, after meeting our beautiful granddaughter, Sophia. Sophia lives in Anchorage, AK; so far from Michigan, but not too far from Anacortes, WA.
It feels really good to be back at the boat! The boat is covered with 9 months of green growing on her hull. There’s a lot to do getting Sweet Pea cleaned up and then provisioned for our big trip to South East Alaska (SEAK). It’s not all work and no play however. There’s always friends around the dock with plenty of food and companionship.
So you embarked on a glorious afternoon with what seemed to be calm seas (at least in Anacortes Marina😉) to Stewart Island.
We’re going to miss you both but wish you happy adventures on your journey north 💕. Looking forward to your day to day updates 😊.
