Prince Rupert, British Columbia, Canada

We made it across The Dixon Entrance and they let us in! We started out on Thursday, July 9th. We got out of our cove and I made Norm turn around and anchor. The waves were about 5′ and we weren’t even out in it yet. This is what it’s all about. Friday, July 10th we departed at 5 a.m. and it was a beautiful crossing! So pretty going into Prince Rupert Harbor.

This is how the engine mounts are turning out that Norm is painting. Beautiful!

Saturday, July 11, we took a tour to Khutzeymateen Grizzley Bear Sanctuary with Prince Rupert Adventure Tours. An 8 hour day on a fast boat. All viewing is done from the boat. We saw 8 grizzlies, including cubs, lots of eagles and humpback whales. A great day!
