We left Shearwater at 8 am this morning, in the rain. The Waggoner Flotilla was also in Shearwater and they also left. About 10 boats altogether. We knew we had 2 areas today that we needed to arrive at the correct time so the current would be less going through a narrow inlet. Perceval narrows and Jackson Narrows. Last night we had dinner with some new friends, Jean and Dave, who had made 8 trips from Anacortes, WA to Alaska. We took advantage of their experience and asked a lot of questions. Could we really navigate Jackson Narrows safely? Yep!

We are in a stunning anchorage. There are 6 boats here but it still feels wild and secluded.
